New Wave Enviro Products, Inc. has had numerous requests from our customers to provide an inexpensive water bottles that are both BPA free water bottles, reusable again and again but at the same time in the unlikely event the bottle is thrown away, can be easily recycled.
Recently a new product has become available that fits both these criteria, Eastar ™ resin. This product is FDA approved and NSF 51 certified. Virtually all major personal water bottle manufacturers are now using the Eastman Chemical material; however as has always been the case our product is substantially less expensive.
New Wave has begun introducing our most popular water bottles in the Easter resin to provide BPA free water bottles in a variety of shapes and colors.
BPA FREE BOTTLES FAQS
1. Does this material contain BPA?
No BPA is used to produce this material making this a BPA free water bottle.
2. Is the bottle rigid?
Yes, it is a glass like material that holds its shape and will not shatter.
4. Does this material carry a “7” recycle code?
No. although it is reusable and glass like, it is wholly unique in that it carries a “1” recycle code. In the unlikely event these bottles are discarded, they are easily recyclable.
5. How do I clean the bottle?
We hand wash ours with detergent or vinegar or baking soda and tap water. Dishwashers with temperatures over 120 degrees may warp the bottle. The cap, of course, can be cleaned in a dishwasher
6. I’m not sure I want to use plastic of any kind?
This is of course a FMC not a FAQ but we hear this from time to time. Our goal lies in providing litter free alternatives to single use or limited use plastic bottles. These Eastar™ resin bottles provide an inexpensive reusable alternative for eco conscious consumers.
