Contains: 18 ounces of KDF-55 filters out Chlorine, Odors, and Dirt Particles with the Premium Shower Filter Helps control bacteria, bathroom mold and mildew Clears up dry, itchy skin Each filter contains 18 ounces of patented, bacteriostatic KDF-55, which filters out Chlorine, Odors, and Dirt Particles. KDF is a copper-zinc alloy that filters by reduction-oxidation.
When the water passes throug the chlorine is converted to harmless chloride. The water flow creates a slight electrical current that releases oxygen so oxygen-depleting bacteria cannot grow!
Recommended Use: When a new filter cartridge replacement is needed, all you do is open the housing, remove cartridge (recyclable), and insert a replacement filter cartridge!

Notes: On average, the filter will last about one year. Initially, the filter will remove 98% of the Chlorine. Over time, the removal percentage declines until it is at about 87% after one year. That's why you should replace the cartridge after a year.

The shower filters need to be replaced every 12 months.
How It Works
